Hair Diary: Regimen and Products

I'm really lazy when it comes to my hair. I co wash once a week with Herbal Essences Hello Hydration Conditioner.

After washing, I alternate between Elasta QP Glaze(while hair is still wet) and Optimum Oil therapy Dry Hair Healer(when hair has dried). Both moisturizes my hair and adds shine without using oil sheen.

But when I do use oil sheen, I go for Elasta QP or Olive Oil oil sheen. I deep condition once a month with Olive Oil Replenishing Pak deep conditioner.

My hair is still a little fro, so wash n gos are my thing right now. I'm not really trying any new products right now because I haven't run out of my current products yet. But I have my eye on Carol's Daughter, Moroccan Oil, Curly-Kinky, and B&b products, to name a few. And when I try these I promise to do reviews. Also, I'm currently putting my hair in braids for a protective style. But its going to take me forever to finish so I will definitely keep you guys posted. :))

Make-up Tips, Tricks & How - tos

Perfect All Day Wear Lipstick

Ok so as of right now, I can't remember the last time I actually shopped for make-up or lipstick. As a matter of fact I didn't really like lipstick until a few years back. I was definitely a lip gloss girl. :) So...a lot of my lipsticks came from this generic kit, I got for Christmas, like 4 years ago, so the wear for them is sometimes a little short. To prolong my lip color and create a cute matte lip, I use Vasaline(my favorite), or lip balm, before I swipe my lip color.

The look is a little glossy at first but after your lips absorb the moisture it will leave a beautiful matte finish. Able to use with just about any lipstick and moisturizes at the same time! And the color lasts just about all day!(sometimes I have to re apply)

Sugar, Spice, & Everything Nice: Body Shop Strawberry Body Butter

Now I'm not really a fan of strawberry anything but this body butter has won my heart. That strawberry scent is so sweet it makes you want to eat it! Oh yea, it makes your body soft too. :))

Style Stalker: Tribal Beauty

Amani Williams
Age: 20
Occupation: Stylist - Forever 21/Student

This D.C. bred diva and mother of a beautiful son, knows what she wants. She's feisty yet kind-hearted. Humble yet not afraid to speak her mind. This is my friend and co-worker and I hope you guys enjoy her interview!

Where are you from?
Washington, D.C.

When did you have your first fashion breakthrough?
Well, after moving back to D.C., from a two year stay in Washington state, my friends in high school would make fun of me and the clothes I wore. I still fashionable in Washington but it was really plain and D.C. style was more crazy. So I mixed a little of me with a little of D.C.

What is your worst fashion moment?
I pulled a Janet while dancing at a game. I was on a football dance squad, and although no else saw but the other dancers, it was still embarrassing.

What is your ultimate fashion don't?
Being matchy matchy. You know like wearing a red and blue dress with red and blue shoes and red and blue earrings. That's just tacky! I mean it's 2011 people! Think outside of the box. Who says you can't wear plaids with florals or leopard with lace or crazy prints?

What are your favorite places to shop?
Forever 21, Arden B, H&M, Urban Outfitters, and Micheal Kors

Who are your favorite designers?
Steve Madden, Micheal Kors and Jeffery Campbell

What is your favorite fashion accessory?
Earrings are a girl's best friend! I have to have a pair of bomb earrings!

If you could bring back any style what would it be?
I love the 70's!!

If your make-up bag could hold one thing, what would it be?
My pink MAC lipstick, of course!
